About Us

Companyfilms was founded in 2005 by Daniël Aiss and Jelle Leeksma. Because the Dutch feature film branch is too small to provide all the film professionals with a full-time job, Companyfilms came up with the idea of using professionally trained filmmakers for corporate films on a large scale. Since then, Companyfilms has evolved into an organization that provides companies with corporate films, commercials, instructional films, training videos and event registrations.

Producers

Daniel Aiss obtained a Bachelors degree in (Commercial) Economics at the HEAO in The Hague in 2002. In 2008 he obtained a Bachelors degree at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam as a producer. From 2001 to 2007 he was the co-owner of Xenta, a market research company. After founding Companyfilms in 2005 with Jelle Leeksma, he quickly found out that it was the film business he liked best.

Jelle Leeksma took part in the Film and Television Studies program at the University of Utrecht and obtained a Bachelors degree as a producer at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam in 2008. For the past few years Jelle has gained experience in producing for feature films and commercials, as well as working as an assistant director.
